Transportation Services

Transportation Services to medical appointments at the Reno VA Medical Center are done on Tuesdays and Thursdays via our DVA van or Monday through Friday by the VA’s Veterans Transportation Service (VTS) van. Both services are by appointment and provided free of charge. You are required to make a reservation through our office for the service. A medical appointment at a Reno VA Healthcare facility is required. Please call (530) 283-6271 to schedule a ride. This must be done at least 3 days prior to the appointment. The DVA Van departs Quincy at the Courthouse Annex upper parking lot at 7:00 am weather permitting. The VTS arranges pickup locations on route and times are more flexible. Van cancellations during inclement weather are common and to be expected.

To schedule a ride or for more information call (530) 283-6271. VA Medical Care
