District Four

I am extremely honored to represent Quincy, Meadow Valley, and Bucks Lake as Plumas County Supervisor – District 4.

I have lived in Quincy for 35 years, attending local schools and Feather River College. I have a long history of public service, and have previously worked for Plumas Unified School District , United States Forest Service, County of Glenn, and for the past 19 years for County of Plumas. I have served on non-profit boards of directors such as Plumas Rural Services and Sierra Cascade Family Opportunities (Head Start).

The Plumas County Board of Supervisors has appointed me to serve on the Mental Health Commission, the First Five Commission, the Juvenile Justice Commission, and to be Plumas County's representative to the National Association of Counties. I also work on natural resource issues that affect our county.

I strongly believe in being fiscally responsible to the taxpayer, with an accountable and transparent government. I continue to work to implement cost saving measures and streamline efficiency in local government. I continue to work for and support economic stability for working families, well planned growth, public safety, business community vitality, and the needs of our youth and senior citizens.

Plumas County is my home. It is a beautiful place to live, work, play, and enjoy each and every day. I am here to work for you, to address your concerns, and find solutions. Please contact me anytime at home (530) 283-0317 or call my cell number (530) 368-6110. My email is lorisimp@inreach.com.
