Members of the PCHPA Clinic team visit each preschool/school site within Plumas County a minimum of 1 time per year to provide oral health screening and fluoride varnish, provide oral health education to children and parents, and case management with teachers, nurses, and parents providing advice and/or suggestions on how to obtain dental treatment. They also provide solutions to parents/guardians to obtain a dental home for the family, provide oral health education presentations, are available to all educational centers, and provide oral health education during home visits with nurses for Family First.
