All Transfer Stations and Feather River Disposal and Intermountain Disposal Offices will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

All Plumas County Offices will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.

CHRISTMAS TREE CURBSIDE COLLECTION & TRANSFER STATION DROP-OFF

Feather River Disposal Service Area:

Route Collection: Christmas tree curbside pickup in January if trees are clean and cut into 2 foot sections.

East Quincy Transfer Station: Christmas trees if clean and cut into 2 foot sections are accepted as woody waste at the reduced rate. All uncut Christmas trees or trees with ornaments, tinsel, flocking, paint, or tree stands are accepted at the non-reduced rate.

Chester-Lake Almanor Transfer Stations: Christmas trees are accepted at the non-reduced rate. 

Intermountain Disposal Service Area:

Route Collection: Christmas tree curbside pickup will be collected for free from January 1st Through  January 15th, if clean and cut into 4 foot sections.

Delleker and Graeagle Transfer Stations: Christmas trees accepted free of charge from January 1st through January 15th, if clean and cut into 4 foot sections. All uncut Christmas trees or trees with ornaments, tinsel, flocking, paint, or tree stands are accepted at the non-reduced rate.

Please remove all ornaments, tinsel, lighting, tree stands, and cut trees into lengths as indicted above.
