Plumas County Department of Public Works is accepting bids for the SR 70 East Quincy Pedestrian Improvement Project.
Bids for this work will be received at the Office of the Plumas County Public Works Department, 1834 East Main Street, Conference Room, Quincy, CA 95971, until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of demolition and removal of existing metal beam guardrail, reconstruction of the paved driveway approach to County’s culvert storage yard, construction of abutments for a pedestrian truss bridge and installation of a County-supplied 50’ single-span prefabricated pedestrian truss bridge. Other items of work include construction of hot mix asphalt pedestrian pathway, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk, new guardrail and end treatment.
The contractor shall possess a Class A license at the time this contract is awarded.
The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond.
