PG&E has a planned outage scheduled for this Friday, May 10 lasting approximately 2 hours, between 10 pm and midnight. The planned power outage is necessary so PG&E crews can safely work on equipment at the Big Meadows substation in Canyon Dam. The outage will impact 1,600 PG&E electric customers, primarily in Greenville, Taylorsville, and Crescent Mills. PG&E has notified impacted customers by letter and automated calls about the power outage.
