Adult and Children Outpatient Services and Locations
Adult and Children Outpatient Centers provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to individuals requiring mental health or dual diagnosis treatment. The outpatient treatment team consists of trained professionals including psychiatrists, licensed therapists, psychiatric technicians, counselors, and support staff. Focus areas include mental health and substance abuse assessment, psychiatric assessment and evaluation for medication, medication monitoring, limited individual counseling, group counseling, bilingual counseling services, interpreter services, benefits services, and community services referral.

Community Wellness Centers
Quincy Wellness-
Our focus at the Quincy Wellness Center is the people of Quincy and surrounding areas, and we strive to support a healthy community.
In our center, we provide services that can lead to greater self-sufficiency and stability. These service programs can include emergency lodging and food assistance, utility assistance, Medi-Cal, CalFresh, HEAP application support, and much more.
Some of the services we offer are access to public computers, a lending library, movies to check out, clinical assessments, and case management. Additionally, we have monthly wellness classes and groups. Call us for more information at 530-283-6370, option 4.

Chester Wellness-
Our Center Wellness Center offers intakes for Behavioral Health Services every Friday - Walk-ins are encouraged starting at 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m.
We strive to serve our community by connecting you to needed services.
We provide the documents for Cal Fresh, Medi-Cal, HEAP, and affordable housing applications, as well as Section 8.
We can also assist with scheduling intake meetings with the Veterans Administration and offer GED Classes
Plumas County Public Health Agency is on-site every two weeks to accept sharps

Portola Wellness-
The Focus of the Portola Wellness Center is to enrich the lives of the community through wellness activities and therapeutic services.
Some of the wellness activities offered are Tai Chi, Yoga, Art classes, GED classes, and several others. We are on Facebook #Portola wellness#.
Are you interested in receiving therapeutic services but don’t know where to start? We offer walk-in intakes on a first-come first-serve basis. The intakes will be conducted from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. every Thursday. No appointments are scheduled for these.
We are located at 280 E Sierra Street, directly across from Sierra Energy/7-Eleven.

School-Based Counseling
PCBH staff provide mental health services in school settings throughout Plumas County, covering most communities. Clinicians provide a variety of counseling models and techniques to eligible students and their families. Medication services are available as indicated.
