Research Databases | Includes tips on how to do online research and a list of databases (mostly open-access) to use for your research. It also includes non-Plumas/Sierra County based newspaper archives.

Newspapers | Includes links to current Plumas and Sierra newspapers, complimentary access to The NY Times, and links to various archives of Plumas and Sierra County-based newspapers.

Genealogy and Family History | Includes tips on how to do basic genealogy research as well as links to databases and other sites to do family research. (This is mostly focused on Plumas/Sierra County-based research.)

Legal Resources | The Library cannot offer legal help, but we can provide links to trustworthy CA legal resources to help you do your own legal research.

Writing Resources | Provides several helpful writing resources.

Learning Resources - Library Card Required | Provides links to various learning resources. All links on this page require a library card.

Learning Resources - No Library Card Required | Provides links to various learning resources, including academic courses, other courses (such as basic computer instruction), a list of sites and resources to learn coding, create digital art, and specifically to create video games, resources for learning languages online, and more. All links on this page do not require a library card.

Brainfuse | Includes the link to HelpNow, which provides one-to-one live tutoring for all grades and subjects, and to VetNow, which provides help to veterans and their families.

Driver Ed Program | A new program that provides the CA Driver's Handbook and various practice tests of increasing difficulty for cars, motorcycles, and your Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Local and State Links | Provides links to several local and state organizations for community members.

Financial Information | Provides some links and information about general finances, college aid financial resources, and financial information and scam warnings about COVID-19.
