Meeting Rooms

Portola Meeting Room (Oct 21, 2022): Due to issues with repairs, there may be trouble getting heat for the meeting room. Please be aware that this is a potential issue.  

Meeting Room Usage

The Plumas County Library, as an open forum promoting knowledge, ideas, and cultural enrichment, makes meeting rooms available to organizations engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual, civic, or charitable activities.  All meetings must be free and open to the general public. Admission fees and sales of any kind are not permitted.

We have meeting room locations at the Quincy Branch and Portola Branch. 

Reservations should be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Reservations may not be made more than 90 days in advance. A group may not schedule more than one meeting a month. No organization may use the room for more than two consecutive days. Please contact us immediately to cancel any reservations.

Use of the meeting room does not constitute an endorsement of the views of the user by the Library.

There are several other options if the Library is already booked or does not match your needed occupancy or amenity requirements. Some of these have fees for their use. These are Quincy-based.
